According to reports, Apple is working on a 20-inch foldable tablet. Apple watcher Mark Gurman described the item as a cross between an iPad and a MacBook in his Power On newsletter.

There will be no actual keyboard or trackpad on the next tablet, which will have a “dual-screen.” The touch screen display will be used to complete all jobs. Depending on the user’s demands, the device can be utilised as an iPad or a MacBook.

Apple is now included in our foldable notebook plan. We’ve heard that the greatest size, around 20′, is generating interest. This size might give Apple a new product category, as it would be a real dual-use notebook with a full-size keyboard when folded and a monitor when not folded and utilised with an external keyboard when not folded. At that scale, it might be possible to get UHD/4K or even better resolution.

Apple is expected to release the smartphone in 2026 or 2027, according to both sources. For the time being, the company is expected to announce a new iPad Air and Mac during its long-anticipated spring event.
