Source sources said Saturday, a draught for the remaining matches of the Super League of Pakistan (PSL) will be drafted next week, which will provide franchises with a listing of players available.

All top players are no longer available, according to sources, while those who are willing to participate in the tournament cannot commit themselves to all the other matches.

The inability of experienced foreign players in Platinum and Diamond has made it difficult for franchisees to combine powerfully since the Indian Premier Ligue is now occupied by some of the crickets that played in the early PSL matches.

England’s early PSL crickets are no longer available to play, while Australia, New Zealand, and South Africa players are not amongst the top rankings. On the other hand, cricketers are available for participation from Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Afghanistan, and the West Indies.

The remaining fixtures will include, among 130 foreign players included in the draught list, Shakib Al Hasan, Tamim Iqbal and Martin Guptill from New Zealand, sources said.

The rest of the matches are scheduled in Karachi from 1 to 20 June, with players in quarantine for one week from 22 May added.

The tower’s sixth year was postponed on 4 March, as the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) had said at the time because of rising COVID-19 cases involving the players and officials.
