Govt Launches Naya Pakistan Health Card Mobile Application

The Punjab government has launched the ‘Naya Pakistan Health Card Mobile Application’ to provide important information on the federal government’s ‘Sehat Sahulat Program.’

According to sources, Punjab Health Minister Dr. Yasmin Rashid, together with senior officials from the provincial health department, inaugurated the application on Sunday in Lahore.

Dr. Yasmin, speaking at the ceremony, stated that the application has been linked with the National Database Regulatory Authority (NADRA) since individuals’ records with the NADRA are required to access healthcare services at all empaneled hospitals in the province.

Residents of Punjab can receive free treatment for up to Rs. 1 million at the province’s 133 primary, secondary, and tertiary public hospitals and 101 private hospitals.

She went on to say that under the Sehat Sahulat Program, each family will be provided a health card in the name of the family’s head, who will be responsible for registering with the authorities via the application.

In addition, at the Tehsil level, the provincial administration has established dedicated support desks in the offices of Assistant Commissioners. They can also call the help desk at 0800-09009 for further information on the program’s free therapy.
