According to the teaser poster, the Honor Magic V will be released on January 10 in China at 4:30 p.m. PST. Honor’s most recent user interface update, Magic UI 6.0, will also be introduced at the same event.

The poster also includes a close-up of the phone in silver with a textured back panel. The main camera is equipped with three lenses and a dual-tone LED flash. The hinge appears to be identical to the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold series, but Honor’s CEO has already verified that it is a self-developed design that is the industry’s narrowest.

On the exterior screen, a centred punch-hole selfie camera is visible, but its resolution is unknown at the present. According to leaks, the outer screen would be 6.5-inches diagonally, while the primary screen will be 8-inches. BOE and Visionox will supply the display panels.

Honor has announced that the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chip will power it, making it the most powerful folding phone to date. The primary camera will be a 50MP snapper, while the battery capacity will be 5,100 mAh with 66W rapid charging capabilities.
