Huawei Patents a Portless Smartphone With Under-Screen Selfie Camera

Huawei has long been a major player in the smartphone sector. However, the company’s growth has stalled as a result of the many prohibitions enforced by the United States. It does, however, continue to work hard on innovation and technological advancements. A Huawei patent just surfaced, revealing a smartphone display that is “holeless.”

The patent for the handset with curved edges and no bezels was revealed by IT Home. The patent includes photos of the design from various perspectives. An oval back cover wraps around the full body of the smartphone.

The patent does not include any additional information about the renderings, but it does include an abstract that specifies their use in network communication, transaction processing, and voice calls, among other things.

There is no pop-up camera on the phone, and it is unclear whether there is an under-screen camera.

It also looks identical to the Huawei Nova 9 SE, which will be released later this month.
