Leak Reveals Xiaomi and Redmi Phones Coming in 2022

Xiaomi launched its flagship Xiaomi 12 series, which is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor, to kick off the new year. Xiaomi’s planned releases for 2022 have been exposed in full with codenames thanks to a new leak from China.

Xiaomi’s forthcoming twelve launches have been given codenames, according to popular tipster Digital Chat Station.

The internal software codenames for the next Redmi K50 models are ‘Munch,’ ‘Rubens,’ ‘Matisse,’ and ‘Fog.’ The Redmi K50 series will most likely contain the Redmi K50, K50 Pro, K50 Pro Plus, and K50 Gaming Edition.

The K50 series will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 and MediaTek Dimensity 9000, according to Xiaomi. While Digital Chat Station stated that Xiaomi will employ two alternative chipsets for the rest of the K50 models, the Snapdragon 870 and the MediaTek Dimensity 8000.

Xiaomi’s ‘Thor’ and ‘Loki’ models are thought to be the company’s entry into the premium flagship camera phone sector. The devices will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 and will have high-quality photo sensors, according to Digital Chat Station.

‘Light,’ ‘Thunder,’ ‘Zizhan,’Zijin,’Taoyao,’ and ‘Opal,’ which are thought to be internal codenames for Xiaomi’s future foldable devices, Xiaomi Mi MIX Flip and Fold 2, as well as the company’s upcoming mid-range Redmi Note 12 series.

Xiaomi is also expected to use the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 in its next foldable smartphones, according to Digital Chat Station. The Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 chipset might be found in the Redmi Note 12 series.
