Lenovo announced the Legion Y90 gaming smartphone towards the end of 2021, revealing an official release date of January 1st, 2022. The smartphone, however, has yet to be released. Now, the business has released a short promotional video on Weibo, revealing the Legion Y90’s design.
The Legion Y90 has a 6.92′′ E4 AMOLED flat screen with a 720Hz touch sampling rate that supports HDR content, rounded corners and minimal top bezels, and a selfie camera on the right side of the earpiece. The screen is also expected to have anti-blue light eye protection certification, which reduces the amount of blue light emitted by the screen.
The back has a massive central island that houses the flash, cameras, and a Y-shaped light. Antenna lines on the frame imply that the smartphone is made of metal.
The smartphone is rumoured to run ZUI, which will include improvements for a better gaming experience.
Lenovo earlier stated that the smartphone will have a dual-engine air-cooled system for better performance. Furthermore, the smartphone is said to be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC, LPDDR5 RAM, and UFS 3.1 storage.
The gaming smartphone’s price and availability are presently unknown.
