Nothing May Soon Launch a New Android Smartphone

Carl Pei, co-founder of OnePlus, departed the OPPO-backed firm in September 2020 and established Nothing, which released the Nothing Ear (1) truly wireless earbuds. The corporation appears to be preparing to release a new smartphone.

Nothing is working on more products than the TWS earphones, according to Carl Pei’s last Twitter chat, which suggests that a smartphone may be on the way soon.

To first, Carl Pei’s cryptic tweets hinted at the prospect of switching to an Android phone. The tweets were subsequently followed by a conversation between Android and Snapdragon, implying the prospect of Nothing’s own smartphone.

Manu Sharma, Vice President and General Manager of Nothing India, had previously discussed the brand’s future objectives. According to the GM, the company aims to release more than five new items in the near future.

It’s possible that a Nothing smartphone and Power (1) power bank are already in the works, with a debut date of early 2022.

Given the company’s Ear (1) price approach, the forthcoming smartphone could be a “flagship killer” targeting at expensive products.
