Oppo Announces Global Versions of Reno7 and Reno7 Pro Alongside Watch Free

Oppo launched the Reno7 series in November 2021, and the company is currently expanding globally. The phone will be released in India alongside a vanilla variation called Oppo Reno7, which differs from the Chinese model in a few important areas.

Oppo Reno7 Pro

Design & Display

The Reno7 Pro features a 6.5-inch 90Hz AMOLED display with a punch hole in the top left corner on the front. The smartphone comes in two colour options: Starlight Black and Startrails Blue.

Internals & Storage

The Oppo Reno7 Pro is equipped with a MediaTek Dimensity 1200 Max chipset with 5G support, as well as 8GB and 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage.

Oppo claims that by using portion of the internal storage to dump things that aren’t needed right away, the memory may be enlarged by up to 7GB with the Dynamic RAM expansion.

The phone will ship with ColorOS 12 pre-installed, which is based on Android 11.

Camera

The phone has a Sony IMX709 sensor and a 32MP selfie camera. A 50MP f/1.8S main lens, as well as an 8MP ultra-wide and 2MP macro camera sensor, are mounted on the phone’s back.

Battery & Pricing

The phone’s battery capacity is 4,500mAh, and it supports 65W SuperVOOC 2.0 rapid charging.

Starting February 8th, the Reno7 Pro will be available for $535 through the same outlets as its vanilla sister.

Oppo Reno7

Design & Display

The Oppo Reno7 is equipped with a 6.43-inch AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 90Hz and a touch sampling rate of 180Hz.

On Flipkart, the official Oppo website, and select offline shops, the smartphone will be available in Blue and Black colours.

Internals & Storage

The MediaTek Dimensity 900 SoC is used in the Oppo Reno7, as opposed to the Snapdragon 778G used in the Chinese version. The smartphone comes with 8GB and 12GB of RAM, as well as 128GB or 256GB of internal storage.

Camera

A 32MP selfie camera is included in the smartphone. While the back camera has a 64MP lens, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, and a 2MP macro sensor, it also has an 8MP ultra-wide lens.

Battery & Pricing

While the smartphone’s battery capacity remains at 4,500 mAh, Oppo has certified the Reno7 for 65W SuperVOOC, as opposed to the Chinese version’s 60W rate.

Oppo Watch Free

With the debut of the Oppo Reno7 and Reno7 Pro, the firm also announced the Oppo Watch Free, a device with a rectangular body that bridges the smart band and smartwatch categories.

The watch costs $80 and comes with a 1.64″ AMOLED display and a good battery life.

Oppo Enco M32 Neckband Earphones

Oppo also unveiled the Oppo Enco M32 neckband earbuds in Green, which are already available for $25 on Amazon in Black.
