Oppo’s First Tablet Appears in a Detailed Leak With Live Images

We learned last year that Oppo was planning to release its first tablets and laptops in 2021. But, with the exception of a new detailed leak, the year is nearing a finish and we still don’t have anything of the sort.

Oppo’s first incoming tablet, the Oppo Pad (tentative name), is discussed in this leak, which also includes live shots of the gadget.

Although the image is barely discernible, we can see that there is no notch in the middle of the screen or a punch-hole on the right side. Because the tablet’s design is hidden by a protective case, there isn’t much else to say about it. It’s possible that the selfie camera will be located at the top bezel.

We also have a pair of screenshots from the tablet’s “About Device” menu, in addition to the photographs. According to these screenshots, the Oppo Pad is equipped with a flagship-grade Snapdragon 870 SoC, 6GB of RAM, and 256GB of storage. The operating system will be Android 11 with ColorOS 12 on top.

According to Digital Chat Station, the screen will be 11 inches diagonally, with a 120Hz refresh rate and a resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels. He also mentioned that the Oppo Pad will come with a battery capacity of 8,080 mAh.

There’s no word on a release date yet, but if previous speculations are correct, we should hear formal news in December of this year.
