Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 will be Thinner and Lighter [Leak]

The S Pen is supported by the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3, but you’ll need a special case to carry it around. With a built-in S Pen slot, the Z Fold 4 was anticipated to alter the game this year, but a new revelation from a respected tipster has just discredited that claim.

Ice Universe, a popular tipster, claims that the next Galaxy Z Fold 4 would not include a S Pen slot in order to maintain its compact profile. This contradicts a February Korean story that indicated a S Pen slot will be available.

He also claims that the new foldable would be smaller and thinner, although he doesn’t elaborate.

The absence of the S Pen on the Z Fold 4 is unsurprising given that its predecessor lacked it as well. It’s possible, though, that the next-generation foldable will come with a S Pen, which wasn’t the case with the Z Fold 3. The S Pen for the current Z Fold is available separately, along with a customized casing.

This S Pen isn’t like the ones that come with Galaxy Note phones or the S22 Ultra. Instead, the Z Fold 3 comes with the S Pen ‘Fold Edition,’ which includes a retractable tip to avoid scratching the Z Fold 3’s delicate display.

Despite the fact that the Z Fold 4 is rumored to have a better display, we expect it to come with the same Fold Edition S Pen.
