Vivo Launches an Affordable Gaming Phone

The Vivo iQOO 9 series is making its way around the world, starting in India. We already know about the iQOO 9 thanks to its launch in China, but Vivo has now released a lower-cost model in the series, the iQOO 9 SE, which costs $455.

The Indian version of the iQOO 9 is nearly identical to the Chinese version. It has the same 120Hz AMOLED display and 48MP main camera system as the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1, although the Snapdragon 888+ SoC has been slightly degraded. The battery has also been downgraded slightly. The battery in the Indian variant is smaller at 4,350 mAh, but it still supports 120W rapid charging.

The iQOO 9 SE is not a completely new model, as its specifications are identical to those of the iQOO Neo 5s. The Snapdragon 888 SoC is also included, but not in the Plus model. It has up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.1 memory. The phone has a 120Hz AMOLED display with 1080p resolution, a 48MP triple-lens camera, and a 4,500mAh battery with 66W rapid charging.

The iQOO 9 SE will be available for $455 starting in March. Because the iQOO series is not available in Pakistan, these phones are unlikely to arrive.
