WhatsApp is Making it Easier to Manage Groups

We first heard about WhatsApp working on a new “Community Home” in January, but there have been no updates since then. The feature has now been detected on WhatsApp Beta version 2.22.6.9 for Android once more.

The feature was discovered by WABetaInfo, a group of engineers that comb through WhatsApp beta versions in search of new features.

The new WhatsApp Beta update adds a new tab for Communities to the main screen, as shown in the screenshot. The camera tab will be replaced by a new one called Community Home. It will house all of your community-related groups and will also assist Group Admins in managing their groups by centralizing them.

The Community Home menu will have options to manage groups and edit communities, according to an older screenshot from WABetaInfo. However, because this feature is still in development, there are no information on how it will work.

However, given that we have additional evidence of Community Home, we can confidently predict that the feature will be released soon. There is no news on when the game will be released, but we should know more in the following months. Keep an eye out for updates.
