As seen in this screenshot given by WABetaInfo, if the functionality is activated, WhatsApp may ask for permission to import the user’s chat history before proceeding.
The software will then instruct the user to keep the app open and the phone unlocked while it migrates their chats if the permission is given.
However, there were no additional specifics or information regarding when the feature would be released.
Users may now migrate their WhatsApp conversations from iOS to Samsung smartphones, while WhatsApp and Google have added support for transferring chat history from iOS to Pixel phones.
