Samsung Galaxy S22 to Start at Rs. 170,000 – Leak

According to a recent rumour supplied by respected source Roland Quandt, the Samsung Galaxy S22 will cost more than the S21 range. In his recent tweet with S22 costs, Quandt claims that whoever assumed the S22 series would be cheaper didn’t consider COVID, component shortages, or inflation.

The S22 models are nearly all $150 more expensive than their S21 predecessors. The Galaxy S21 was originally priced at $800, but the S22 is projected to cost more than $900. Only the S22 Ultra is the same price as its predecessor, the S21 Ultra, but it has less RAM. The S21 Ultra had 12GB of RAM out of the box, however the S22 Ultra’s base model only has 8GB.

The prices that have been revealed are in Euros and will vary significantly for markets outside of Europe.

The Galaxy S22 will start at 849€, which is over Rs. 170,000, according to the tipster’s price list. The S22+ is expected to cost around Rs. 209,000, while the S22 Ultra is expected to cost around Rs. 250,000. Due to tariffs, these prices are going to rise considerably more in Pakistan.

The Galaxy S22 lineup will be unveiled on February 8, and this price list is highly likely to be accurate, considering it was leaked relatively close to the launch and comes from a reliable source.
